Caffeinated Content – Members-Only Content for WordPress
The online casino/poker niche is very competitive but also very profitable.
There are many poker affiliate programs out the with big payouts, what you usually do is sign-up to one or some of them, they give you a special link and you use it to drive people to sign up to the poker site, in turn they pay you a commission.
The hard part is driving people to click on your aff links and sign up.
Imagine having a top ten list of poker sites, all aff links and you were number 1 on google for the term “online poker”.
You’d be raking in the cash, if only it were that easy.

One thing you can do is use Blogger.com which is owned by Google. It’s totally free. You can create a blog and either put Google Adsense on it or sell banner space to online poker sites.
There’s also another site called Ning.com where you can create your own social networking site for free.
If you just want to create your own site, you can pay to advertise in Google Adwords which is the sponsored links you see at the top and right of search results. Also, publishing press releases is a good way to get a good page rank on the search engines.
As far as making money from a poker review site, I would definitely consider Google Adsense and then try to contact poker sites to see if they would be willing to advertise on your site. Of course the cost for advertising would be predicated on the traffic to your site. You can use Google Analytics to track that and it’s free. Good luck
